Course Content
The course provides an introduction to additive manufacturing. Students learn how to create CAD drawings and thus manufacture modeled components using 3D printing. At the beginning, a theoretical introduction to the topic is given. This is followed by various exercises that cover the handling of the required software as well as the handling of the printers. The synergy effects of 3D printing and process engineering are also examined in more detail and discussed in the form of concrete application examples.
